NETG Tour of the Northwestern Central Utility Plant - photos!

Northwestern students listen to Bruce Jaime explain the boiler systems.
Two Fridays ago, on April 30th, NETG was given a tour of the Northwestern Central Utility Plant, the main location for all of Northwestern's refrigeration, hot water, and steam heat. Hosted by Bruce Jaime, the Chief Operating Engineer, we were treated to an up-close look at their massive boilers, turbines, steam circulation system, and water treatment facilities. It was an excellent tour and a great opportunity to see large scale energy systems in action. Photos of the trip are available here on our Facebook page. Hopefully we will be planning another tour next year, so if you missed the tour please join us then!
