Northwestern University's Science Policy Action Network (NUSPAN) presents "Cutting Carbon: a panel discussion on how to merge good science and good policy."
When: Tuesday October 20th, 5 - 6 PM

Hear from our expert panelists on how scientific advances and public policy can help mitigate climate change. The interplay between science, public opinion, and economics will be analyzed in regards to the implementation of effective climate change legislation. The panelists include:
* David Archer, Professor of Geophysics from the University of Chicago and Blogger for RealClimate
* Liz Moyer, Professor of Geophysics from the University of Chicago and Member of CIM-EARTH
* David Weisbach, Professor of Law from the University of Chicago, expert in Federal Taxation Economics
* Marisa Martin, environmental lawyer and Northwestern alum
* Mark Witte, Professor of Economics at Northwestern University, expert in Natural Resource Economics
